Company Drivers
What are the cutoff times for my paperwork?
Company drivers must have their paperwork scanned by Monday at midnight.
Note: All load paperwork must be scanned using the McLeod App. Once paperwork is scanned, keep the originals until you visit a Boyd terminal and drop them in the “scanned” box.
When does my EFS card reset?
EFS card advances pull from Sunday through Saturday at midnight.
How do I request vacation pay and how much will I be paid?
Drivers are eligible for 1 week vacation pay on or after the 1st pay period following their 1-year anniversary. It is paid at 1% of the previous twelve months’ gross earnings, equivalent to 1 week. After completing 3 years of service, the driver is eligible for 2% of the previous 12 months’ gross earnings (equivalent to 2 weeks). To get paid, the driver must request through their driver manager, who submits a pay sheet to payroll. Payment will process in the following payroll cycle.
Owner Operators

EFS card advances reset Saturday night at midnight.
When do advances pull?
Advances pull from Friday through Thursday on the following week’s check.
When do fuel purchases pull?
Fuel purchases pull on the same schedule as advances, from Friday through Thursday on the following week’s check.

Is there someone that I can contact 24/7?
Yes, we have a 24-hour Driver Support Desk available to help with your needs.
Do I have the option of lease purchasing a truck?
Certain individuals who desire to own their own truck may be eligible for a Lease/Purchase contract.
Does Boyd allow passengers to ride along?
Yes, to meet FMCSA rules you must have the appropriate forms signed on file with the carrier and in your truck.

LOADS MUST BE DELIVERED BEFORE SCANNING
Step 1:
Write load number on all load documents
Step 2:
Scan all documents pertaining to the load (envelope, BOLS, Logs, Toll Receipts) using the McLeod App
Step 3:
Hold your bills and drop them off when you arrive at Boyd Brothers Terminal in Birmingham
